Thanks for leaving your footprint at the Outpost! The pond not only rose ... but during the last deluge of rain we had (it all came at once after a long, dry summer), the yard actually flooded and Ed had to put on his waders to fetch the small craft we had tied at the dock! Walking out to it, he found we had fish, turtles and frogs swimming IN OUR YARD! It was amazing.
Now the pond has a hazy glazey look to it ... it's threatening a first freeze coat already. :)

Remember that you were the one complaining about no rain just before the deluge...Noah had the same problem. At least the fishing will be better next spring.
