FIDO TAKES A DIP

You can just make out the dog in the pond. I have just went through a tough week back home, so I resorted to go to the place I most enjoyed and sought privacy as a kid...I went up to the Skyline. Not much has changed up there since I was young but the rules are different. I used to climb a fence that said NO TRESPASSING but it never stopped me..maybe the sign was meant to help keep my privacy. It is open to the public now. The area I frequented most is now a dog play park...Hopefully the dogs enjoy it as much as I did. I know that their owners appreciate it. People can be seen just strolling along the hillsides as I once did..Not much privacy now but the place is still peaceful and beautiful. It used to be Mr. Dupont's Horse farm...I talked to him on many occasions...very nice man...He never made me leave his property, in fact I think he enjoyed sharing the beauty of the place and the company of kids. His last act was to give this place to the people of Delaware as a park...I never owned it but it used to be just mine when I needed it...Many memories are hidden here....Please Keep Coming Cat. Posted by Picasa

Fences were meant to be climbed...I have no trespassing signs all over my place and people drive through my yard all the time...I mean you have to drive over a half a mile to get to my place through the woods and they keep coming..Mo wants to close the gate and lock it..It is the "Get Even Fairy" paying me back for all the times I climbed a fence..but MR DUPONT did not pay taxes...DUPONT CHEMICAL CORPORATION...I think he left the place to the public because we climbed his fence..He would come down and watch us skate. He could have run us off but he never did..Kids are Kids..I find them in my barn, in my cars, in the woods...No harm. I just ask them what there doing and then feed them to spot....
