Dupont Estate

This is the Big Pond on the Dupont Estate. The little island is now covered in trees. This is where I would Ice Skate and play hockey as a kid. The pond is 2 and 1/2 acres. The little pond which is below this one is about an acre. The horses are keep on the other side of the pond. When Mr. Dupont died he left this place to the people of Delaware. It is called Carousel Farms now. It is a beautiful place but it has gone to the dogs. This is the dog park now...no kids allowed. Leave it to the State to screw up a good thing..
