I'M NOT A MAN TO BE RUSHED
Last night I was sworn into the VFW (Veteran of Foreign Wars). I hope this doesn't mean that I have to do that all over again. It has been almost twenty years since I was in a uniform. Now I get to just sit around the bar and tell "sea stories" again. When I went in last night, I met people I served with over forty years ago, and former members of my old squadrons. This is truly a small world...One of the fellas there was actually the guy who sent me into combat TWICE...I guess I didn't get it right the first time.

Congratulations. It had to be one of those 'feel good' kind of nights as you walked in to see old buddies.
One favor though? Could you quit saying things like 'forty years ago...' and such? Hurts.
(haha)
Thanks Hag, actually it was kind of strange to see those guys again. They talked about the WW1 vet who just passed away at 108, so forty years is childs play. But I will now claim 40 as my age...Seastories! Remember?
Good for you.
