On a hot summer's day you can lean against the stones and be cooled off. The water inside kept the stones cool. This is a fun place for kids to play.

I love this sort of structure. In Groton CT there is a structure called the Groton Monument (don't ask). It can serve the same purpose ... for cooling off, that is.
