HE ALSO HAS A LITTLE DISCOLORATION AT THE JOINT....WHO NEEDS TO BE ABUSIVE, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LET THEM OUTSIDE TO PLAY SPORTS...WELL INSTEAD OF BALL PRACTICE TONIGHT, HE MAY BE GETTING AN XRAY....IT IS HIS WRITING HAND TOO...

ROAD TRIPS FOR TRAINING

I HAVE BEEN ATTENDING SOME CLASSES TO FAMILIARIZE MYSELF WITH THE NEW SOFTWARE I WILL BE USING AT WORK...I HAVE TO DRIVE ABOUT 140 MILES TO GET TO CLASS SO I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME TO BLOG. FYI, THE WALKING WOUNDED ARE MENDING FINE BUT JUSTIN DECIDED TO JOIN THEM LAST NIGHT AT BASEBALL PRACTICE. WE THINK HE JAMBED HIS THUMB AND HOPEFULLY DID NOT BREAK IT...

REBEKKAH REACHES THIRD BASE

What do you do on Friday Nights? I lead such a fun life. I got to go out and watch Bekkah's Team get crushed by rival Conley HS. Score was 26 to 2...ouch! This is a picture of Bekkah arriving at third base. Notice the head gear...We didn't play with trashcans on our heads, maybe that is why we don't think so clearly now..all those shots to the noggin.
Due to all the work arounds I have to do to post pictures to this site, the quality of the pictures gets degraded. My apologies for that but it is the only way I have to keep you posted on family events and things I am doing...I will continue to try to fix the glitches..

FYI: Everyone is still on the mend. Mo and Jake are recovering from their surgery. Mo wants to go to a gardening class today, so I know she is feeling better. She is napping now. Took her to the Dr. yesterday...He says she is doing great. Jake is up and around but he will have to remain in the support for two months...He had a pail handle tear...not a pretty picture but he is mending also...

TEST RUN ON NEW SITE

I have no pictures to post at this time but a quick update on GENERAL HOSPITAL. Mo is on the mend. She is using a walker but is getting around a little bit more each day. Jake was in a lot of pain yesteday but the prognosis for his healing is good following his surgery. Meg still has black eyes but I don't know if she broke her nose or not. Major Nasal Hemorage from a mis- guided baseball....Christian has entered the famous Hall of Fools...He doesn't realize MOM cooks his meals and can get back at him any time...I have a feeling he will be doing a lot of things for himself from now on.."MOM, I need a ride to baseball practice...WALK!"

JAKE IS GETTING BETTER.....

JAKE IS RECOVERING FROM KNEE SURGERY

Jake is at home now. When I stopped by the house, he was still on pain meds. His baseball coach called and told him that he was number 22 on the team this year. He will only sit in the dugout because his doctor said he could not play...He will be in a brace for two months..Jake had a MRI before the operation but the Dr. would read the MRI thought what Jake had was just a bulging or pinched meniscus...IT WAS WORSE. When the Orthopedic Dr went inside his knee he found a tear and the meniscus had flapped back over itself and was being pinched in the joint...thus the pain and inability to walk. (That is the bad news.) THE GOOD NEWS...where he tore it was the best place to do it, and a good chance of healing....Good blood supply and all that...He has it stiched back together and he will have to keep it straight and go through physical therapy but "it will heal". He is a ten year old with an adult injury...The doctor said this was an old injury that he kept re-injuring. We thought it was a pulled ligament because his leg kept locking up and the pain was horrible...but it was the torn meniscus being pinched..So Jake is at home mending, Mo is at home mending, Meg is at home mending..So if things happen in threes, we're done! I have to go to the VA hospital tomorrow for a consult with a plastic surgeon...I think I'll have him put my chest back where it belongs, it seems to have slipped to around my waist...No this is not a fun visit but a necessary one...More on thaaaaaaaat later...

We had the traditional CornBeef and Cabbage that Tara my daughter made for us. Delaney was here with her Mom helping care for Grandma. The girls started the Day with Tea, but now it's time to shake off the old week, comb your hair and go to church to say THANK YOU LORD for such a blessed day. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone.

Jake is so full of life, and Justin has always been his inner strength. When Tuesday rolls around please keep them both in your prayers. They do wonders these days but knee surgery for a ten year old has to be frightening...
