Oh yes. I even touched on this in a post long, long ago.
When I was a kid and my dad's band would come over to practice (jam, nowadays - haha) downstairs, I would sneak out of bed and into the hallway and sit on the top step listening to all the songs and lyrics from the 30s, 40s and 50s tunes they played.
(still my favorite music, by the way)
I have the big band records from the 30s 40s and 50s...we need to share..I need to make a list. What a wonderful way to share your Dad's music...
