A MOMENT TO REFLECT

AS I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE A LITTLE WHILE AGO WITH MY YOUNGEST SON, WHOM BY THE WAY I AM VERY PROUD OF...HE HAS ACCEPTED A JOB IN SC. HE IS THE LAST TO LEAVE THE NEST SO TO SPEAK AND STRIKE OUT ON HIS OWN. WE ALL WAIT FOR THAT DAY BUT WE NEVER REALLY AND TRULY REJOICE IN ITS COMING. WE DO UNDERSTAND IT THOUGH. WE RAISED SIX KIDS OF WHICH WE ARE VERY PROUD OF ALL OF THEM AND THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS SO FAR...THE FOUR GIRLS ARE ALL NOW MARRIED AND WORKING AT RAISING FAMILIES OF THEIR OWN OR IN THE WORK FORCE OR BOTH..."GOD PLEASE DON'T LET ME OFFEND THE GIRLS" MY SONS TOO ARE NOW BOTH GAINFULLY EMPLOYED AND SEEM TO ENJOY WHAT THEY ARE DOING..I'M JUST SO PROUD OF EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM...I THINK I WILL GO AND CELEBRATE HOW TRULY GREAT THEY ALL HAVE TURNED OUT....MY WORK IS DONE....

Congrats to you and Mo on raising six wonderful children. I only had one to raise and leave the nest, but the sentiment is still there. May their children bring you the happiness that you have raised them with.

To Himself, Darlin' I don't know if I can be leavin' you alone this long anymore. You're starting to trip off to the Emerald Isle, and wax a little lyrical with a touch of melancholy- or is it that substantial glass of Irish Mist that is bringin' the Auld Sod and blarney to the surface? Love -Herself
