CHESTNUTS ROASTING ON MY OPEN FORD

The Christmas Holiday was great, with just one small glitch. It would seem that Dan's car (My car) caught fire on the way back to his dorm. He called his brother (not the rocket scientist) and asked advice on the smoke coming in the car. Did he stop and try to figure it out? NO! Just keep on driving and see what happens. Did he call home to ask advice on what to do? NO! He did call home after the event to ask for REPAIR money. Seems he forgot that this was origanally Dad's work car, that he aquired after his sister crashed (totaled) the other car that I had given them for college. One car crashed on the first day of college, and one car fried at the end of college. Seems like Dan will be walking in the New Year. He is not getting my truck. He is getting a job. What will the New Year Bring? Posted by Picasa

Hmmm . . . doesn't seem like the kids are faring too well with cars this year.

Glad he's okay. Sorry he's not the brightest light in the box.

He's a freakin Engineer...He designs the things, doesn't maintain them. But in the big scheme of things, I could care less about the car. He is OK and that is all that matters..I can now remind him for the rest of his life, that he burnt up my car. "REVENGE is a drink best served cold" Star Treck, Revenge of Khan.
