NOAH'S ARK

WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF RAIN THIS WEEKEND. It started on Thursday and just now is starting to clear up. I am glad that Mo is out of town. The state road, to the house was actually washed away, and I had to go out just before that happened. My windshields wipers stopped working in the midst of this TROPICAL DOWNPOUR. I had just got out before the road caved in.. I got back to find the Fire Department blocking the roadway. I had to come in the back way through the National Forrest. The National Forrest Roads are not paved. They also had water washing over them in various places.. I warned my friends not to travel if they didn't have to go out. It took the State Department of Transportation about 24 hours to complete a "temporary" repair to the road. I want to know why they didn't fix it the last two times it washed out, do you think it is cheaper to keep coming back. Now I'm not a highway engineer but...If you put a twelve inch pipe across the road and it keeps getting washed out, do you think that maybe the pipe might be too small? Get a bigger pipe, you As_ _ _ _ _ _! Oh! I forgot about overtime pay....
