The story about this place is Native American..It seems a giant bear was chasing this Indian Princes. She fell down but called out to the Great Spirit to save her. The Great Spirit caused the very ground to raise up under her. The bear clawed at the mound but could not reach her..It's in SD I believe..
I have not been there..Went to the Blue Ridge and Cade's Cove.
